My mom is here in Guatemala. She is an expert in making Mysore Pak, I told her to make some today so that I can gift a few friends whom I will be meeting tomorrow during the Independence day celebrations at the Indian Embassy.
Ingredients:
1 cup - Besan Flour
2.5 cups - Sugar
Ghee - 2 cups

Method:
- Boil the sugar in medium heat till a 1 string consistency is obtained.
- Now add the Besan flour little by little stirring consistently all the while so that no lumps are formed.
- Add in the ghee slowly and keep stirring.
- When the mixture becomes thick and does not stick to the bottom of the pan, transfer to a ghee coated tin.
- Cool and cut into pieces.
